Now that we are ACC Champions, lets look at a few stats.

Guess what the following schools have in common..
Boston College - 0
Clemson - 0
Louisville - 0
Pittsburgh - 0
Syracuse - 0

Thats right, Zero ACC Championships. Nadda, Zip, Goose Egg.

Okay, So Virginia Tech has 1 ACC championship to it's name.
Guess who else has 1 ACC championship to it's name..
Miami - 1
NotreDame - 1

So now that Virginia Tech has 1 ACC championship, we have tied or pulled ahead of 7 other ACC schools in this stat.

There are 3 schools that have 2 or 3 or 4 ACC championships, which is not THAT much more than Virginia tech..
Forida State - 2
UVA - 3
Wake Forest - 4
Georgia Tech - 4

Outside of that, all of the other ACC championships were won by..
Duke - 20
NorthCarolina -17
NCState - 10

So to review, we have pulled in front of 5 schools, tied with 2 other schools, are just behind 4 other schools, and only three North Carolina schools, are way in the lead.

My point, are we sure we are not a basketball school?
NCAA Tournament 5 of the last 6 years, and now ACC champions?
